You may not have expected it, but Naples, FL showcases talented artists across disciplines. A good place to begin exploring Naples’ artistic offerings is Artis Naples, for a calendar of events in several institutions, from public history and “art talks,” film events, and children’s “make and take” workshops.
Naples Philharmonic Orchestra
Naples Philharmonic is the local live-in orchestra that now offers over 140 performances, including operas, ballets and special events each year. The orchestra is nationally recognized as one of the country’s leading young orchestras, and performs numerous series of music so there is something for everyone. The Masterworks is the Naples Philharmonic Classical Series, Pops in the Philharmonic Pops Series, Sypert Salon is Pre-19th Century Chamber Music and Wang Chamber Music brings Mid-19th and 20th Centuries Chamber Music to your ears. The Baker Museum’s permanent collection includes artworks by American, European and Mexican artists. The collection is exhibited in Hayes Hall as well as the sculpture accented grounds or the Kimberly K. Querrey and Louis A. Simpson Cultural Campus. Pieces from the permanent collection are curated and displayed carefully while visiting exhibitions are featured alongside. The low fee is waived for children under 17, and half-off for students. Naples Botanical Garden
Naples Botanical Garden is separated into a number of gardens from the same longitude but different latitudes around the world. The Garden hosts

- Caribbean Garden,
- Brazilian Garden,
- Water Garden,
- Children’s Garden, and
- Orchid Garden
to name a few. This beautifully tended 170 acre facility also acts as an installment area for art through a partnership with Naples Baker Museum, creating a stunning display of art and landscape.
“Gallery Row” can be found along Old Naples’ Third Street South shopping district. This area is home to 11 well known fine art galleries.
- Gardner Colby Gallery highlights contemporary American artists and offers a wide assortment of mediums.
- DeBruyne Fine Art,
- Galerie du Soleil and
- Marianne Friedland Gallery are other galleries in this area.
Art from the 19th and 20th centuries and antiques can be found amongst these galleries with restaurants for refreshments nestled between.
