There are a few options for sightseeing cruises in Naples, FL and most sightseeing tours depart from the same area:
Tin City, right next to downtown Naples. There are a couple tours I would recommend for different reasons.
One is Pure FL’s sightseeing tour which is an open air double decker vessel that I recommend for family tours. The other is the Naples Princess, which is a beautiful boat that makes for a romantic sightseeing journey.
Let’s begin with the Pure FL sightseeing cruise. This tour is about an hour and a half and follows essentially the same route as the Naples Princess. The vessel is a double decker. My children enjoyed riding on the upper level, watching for birds, other boats and dolphins! For vacationers that really want to see dolphins, there is a 3 hour tour that includes a stop on Keewaydin Island. Even on the shorter hour and a half sightseeing tour, dolphins will sometimes swim alongside the tour boats making a series of water-breaking jumps before heading off again. Of course, on our tour, the kids had to take turns sitting at the end of the bench seat by the ocean. The tour guides entertained our family with interesting snippets of Naples history and surrounding areas, including public water access, bay side neighborhood history and specific stories of the owners of Port Royal homes and their boats. On Saturday mornings Pure FL offers a kids-ride-free sightseeing tour with paid adult, visit Purefl.com to find out more.
Just down the street from the Tin City launch for Pure FL is the Naples Princess. This boat is as grand as it sounds. The glass sides on this vessel give patrons unfettered views of Gordon’s Pass and Naples Bay as they relax inside this beautiful space. This is a great tour to take with your sweetheart or other adults: ask us for a babysitter recommendation and have a nice vacation date night! Order a meal or have a couple drinks while the tour guide tells you the history of surrounding area. Take in the sights of expansive Port Royal bay side properties without running the risk of the wind or sun messing up your hair or makeup. There are high tops out on the balconies if you prefer to feel the sun on your skin. Tickets and additional information can be found at naplesprincesscruises.com. I recommend the sunset tour. In my opinion, this gorgeous vessel with the beautiful Naples Bay and a sunset over the Gulf of Mexico makes for a perfect evening.
